Project Description
Virtuous Pie
Now in 4 cities across Canada and the US, the fast-casual, 100% vegan pizza restaurant, Virtuous Pie asked the interior designers at House of Bohn to develop an unexpected statement in Vancouver’s thriving restaurant scene. House of Bohn conceptualized a true modern-eclectic space reminiscent of old world Italy. The incorporation of family style picnic tables were meant to encourage community while the natural materials and clean lines used throughout the space reflect the healthy, plant-based lifestyle. The custom steel and brass hood gives an elevated industrial feel while the black marble and rustic brick arches offer a taste of Italy. In order to pay homage to the up and coming neighbourhood of Chinatown where the restaurant is located, the bathroom was purposefully designed with a pop of red tile which is considered to be lucky in China.
